Lough Derg was transformed into a sea of pink last Sunday as the Women on the Water (WOW) group at Lough Derg Yacht Club hosted its Very Pink Sail in aid of Breast Cancer Ireland.
The colourful event got underway at Lough Derg Yacht Club in Dromineer, with sailors, boat crews and water enthusiasts taking to the lake in an array of pink-themed boats and outfits.
An armada made its way across the lake from Dromineer to Dromaan, with everything from sailing boats and cruisers to paddleboards and rowing boats taking part.
Once ashore in Dromaan, participants enjoyed a lakeside picnic along with a raffle, games and other activities, while a fleet of rowers took part in a series of lively harbour relay races.
There was also a touch of glamour on the day with a special appearance from Qu-EE-too, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Participants were encouraged to embrace the pink theme, with spot prizes awarded across a number of categories including Best Dressed Crew Outfit and Best Decorated Boat.
The event was organised to raise funds for Breast Cancer Ireland, with proceeds supporting the organisation's work in breast cancer research, education and awareness.
The Very Pink Sail brought together members of the Lough Derg community for a day of fun on the water while helping to support an important cause.
