Nenagh College choir and trad group visit day-care centres and nursing homes
On December 5, students from Nenagh College brought music and festive cheer to the local community. The school’s choir and traditional music group visited a number of day-care centres and nursing homes, performing a selection of songs and instrumental pieces for residents.
Reflecting on the day, the school expressed gratitude for the warmth shown by the community. Staff and students were particularly appreciative of the hospitality extended by St Cronins, Áras Mhuire and Nenagh Manor.
The school paid tribute to the efforts of its students, noting their commitment and kindness. Their performances, it said, brought joy to many and underscored the role of music in fostering community spirit.
Nenagh College described the initiative as an opportunity for students to engage meaningfully with local residents, highlighting the positive impact of intergenerational connections.
