6. Ronan Maher Rating: 7/10 Maher slotted back into the full back position for this game, but with Limerick leaving two inside for long spells, Maher followed Kyle Hayes around and kept him quiet. Maher was utilised well from short puckouts and was much more prominent in general play from the Clare game.

7. Seamus Kennedy Rating: 6/10 Had the job of picking up Gearoid Hegarty for much of the game, it was a tough day's work for the Clonmel man. His good man marking job on Tony Kelly the previous week made him the man for Hegarty, but the Limerick man probably got the better of this duel.

8. Paddy Cadell Rating: 5/10 A match and a year to forget for Paddy Cadell. He started the game at wing back and struggled in a big way to cope with Cathal O'Neill in the first half. O'Neill was Limerick's best player in the first half, and Cadell couldn't deal with the youngster. Withdrawn before half time.

9. Michael Breen Rating: 6/10 With a bit of luck and more composure, Breen could have finished the game with 2-2. Hit a few uncharacteristic wides for points, and spurned two golden goal opportunities in either half. Couldn't influence the game and Tipp need his like to be stepping into leadership roles in the coming years. Needs to step up.
