There are 38 in people being treated on trolleys at Naas Hospital today.
The hospital is the third most overcrowded public hospital in the eastern region.
The most overcrowded facility is Tallaght Hospital with a figure of 34.
There are 10 patients on trolleys at Portlaoise Hospital and one at Tullamore.
