54 new self-storage units could be coming soon to this Kildare town

The construction of 54 new self-storage units has been proposed for one County Kildare town.
Cargo handling company AMC Removals Limited is seeking planning permission from Kildare County Council (KCC) to construct the units at AMC House, which is located in Naas Industrial Estate.
Specifically, AMC Removals Ltd wants to construct 54 self-storage units, with 26 located on ground floor (370 square metres) and 28 located on a proposed first floor (458 sq m).
In addition, the applicant is seeking permission from KCC for all associated works within the existing warehouse unit.
The date received is listed as July 10 last, while the submission-by and due dates are listed as August 13, 2026 and September 3, 2026 respectively.
According to the business information website SoloCheck.ie, AMC Removals Ltd was established back in January of 2001.
It also trades as Dmc Removals and has a registered address listed as The Elms in Punchestown, Naas.
