The final weekend of the Kildare Senior Football League's Division 2 is coming and here is a rundown of who could be moving up and going down this weekend

The final round of the 2025 Hanlon Concrete LTD Senior Football League Division 3 has arrived and here is your breakdown of what could unfold this weekend in Kildare's second tier.

Jeopardy remains at the top Division 2 with one spot in the league final still up for grabs. Johnstownbridge will occupy one of those places with 16 points to Milltown and Round Towers’ 14, but they, crucially, hold a win over both of their nearest rivals.

The head-to-head for the second league final spot favours Milltown who beat Round Towers 1-17 to 2-11 in Round seven. Milltown face an already relegated Clogherinkoe while Round Towers travel to relegation-threatened Kilcock. Darren O’Shea’s side just need to match Towers’ result and they will join The ‘Bridge in the league final.

Clogherinkoe have already secured their place in Division 3 for 2026, but who joins them is still up for grabs. If Kilcock are relegated alongside Clogherinkoe, the Kildare Senior Football Championship will have two Division 3 sides competing in it this year.

Kilcock, who as mentioned play Towers, sit on five points with Castledermot on six. The green and gold were deducted a point for conceding a walkover earlier in the year to Johnstownbridge and that looks set to make a big difference between staying up and going down.

Castledermot play Two Mile House in their Round 11 clash.

Should the sides finish level on points after the final round of games, Kilcock would be relegated having lost to Castledermot 1-15 to 0-10 on May 3.
