Kildare Co Council grants permission
A multi-sports hall and other facilities are being built in north Kildare.
Planning permission has been granted by Kildare County Council to The North Kildare Club at The Maws, Kilcock.
Approval is given for the construction of a new detached building including a multi-sport hall.
The new facilities include changing rooms, toilet facilities and ancillary rooms.
This development will be located to the rear of the existing sports related buildings and will be linked by means of an open canopy.
North Kildare Club, which was founded in 1928, is located on the road between Maynooth and Kilcock and has a wide range of sports facilities within its sections such as Bowls, Bridge, Cricket, Hockey, Rugby and Tennis.
The club house has full bar facilities for hosting events and parties.
