Better public transport needed for Kildare students

Improved public transport is needed for students in south Kildare.

Cllr Veralouise Behan has asked that the bus service provided by JJ Kavanagh and Sons and which operates between Carlow and Maynooth creates a stop in Castledermot.

She said this is  to facilitate students from the Athy area “who need to commute for college.”
