Boo for Barretstown at Russborough House

Get ready for a spooktacular event filled with fun and excitement at Russborough House in Blessington. This event will take place on Sunday, October 29 , with two times to choose from; 12 noon or 2pm.

Boo for Barretstown is the perfect opportunity to gather with friends, family, and fellow Halloween enthusiasts. Dress up in your most creative costumes and prepare for a day of laughter, games, and trick-or-treating.

At this event, you’ll have the chance to explore the beautiful Russborough House grounds while enjoying a wide range of activities suitable for all ages. From scavenger hunt and face painting to haunted walking trail and costume contests, there’s something for everyone.

The Kildare Sports Partnership Team will be delivering a fun physical literacy obstacle course on the back lawns of Russborough, and Tom in the Forge will have his Hallows’ Eve fire blazing too. The Bird of Prey Centre will have two shows for all to enjoy, included in your ticket price. The organisers are joined this year by the amazing Newbridge Gospel Choir who will perform some Halloween classics.

Not only will you have a wonderful time, but you’ll also be supporting a great cause. Boo for Barretstown is our annual fundraiser, raising vital funds for Barretstown. The funds raised help the charity to continue to provide therapeutic recreation programs for children with serious illnesses.

“We have an incredible array of raffle prizes, set to delight kids and adults alike, and goodie bags filled with Halloween treats for each child at the end of their walk,” said the organisers.

“So mark your calendars, gather your friends and family, and get ready for a spooktacular day at Russborough House. Let’s come together to celebrate Halloween, create lasting memories, and make a difference in the lives of children . See you there!”
