BREAKING: Kildare haulier makes €225,000 settlement with taxman
A Kildare haulier has made a settlement of almost €225,000 with the taxman.
Kevin Judge, whose address was listed as Lowtown, Robertstown, on the latest “defaulters list” published by Revenue, made the settlement.
Mr Judge paid €150,000 in tax along with interest of €29,573 and penalties of €45,005 penalties.
Mr Judge is described as a haulage contractor and the list refers “under-declaration of VAT.”
Revenue say that those on the list are cases where a settlement offer has been accepted instead of initiating court proceedings, or a settlement has been paid in full.
This list reflects the amount of a settlement that remained unpaid at the end of the period 30 September 2022.
Unpaid amounts can be subject to Revenue’s normal debt collection and enforcement procedures.
