BREAKING: Local Kildare bar and restaurant to be turned into bookies

Planning permission has been granted by Kildare County Council for a new bookmaker's shop. 

Planners approved an application for the change of use of an existing ground floor bar/lounge/restaurant premises on Canal View, Sallins.

The green light was also given for external bookmaker signs to be erected.

Two satellite dishes at the the rear of the property will also be installed. 

The total floor area of the new development on Canal View is 192 square metres. 

The estimated construction value of the project is €70,000, according to the Construction Information Services database.
