A €5,000 reward is being offered for Eleanor’s safe return

An animal welfare charity located in County Kildare has renewed its appeal for the safe return of a pony which was stolen from its premises.

Earlier this month, My Lovely Horse Rescue (MLH Rescue) revealed that Eleanor the pony was reported stolen, and initially offered a €1,000 reward for her safe return.

Now, just over three weeks on, MLH Rescue has not only renewed its appeal, but has also upped its reward to €5,000.

Taking to social media, MLH Rescue said that it is ‘heartbroken’ over the situation.

MLH Rescue elaborated: “She is out there, and we are desperately hoping for her safe return.

“If you have Eleanor, or if you know where she is, please do the right thing and bring her home.”

The charity further said that no questions will be asked and ‘nothing will be said’: “We only want Eleanor back where she belongs, safe with her MLHR family.”

MLH Rescye concluded: “Please, if you have any information at all, contact us immediately.”

Anyone with information relating to Eleanor’s whereabouts is urged to call or text MLH Rescue on 087 261 1463.

In addition, MLH Rescue is also appealing to the public to help it install higher, stronger fencing in order to keep its rescues ‘safe from evil humans’.

Donations can be paid directly to the charity by visiting its official website.
