Department of Defence is seeking contractors for construction of logistics office in Curragh Camp, Kildare

Department of Defence is seeking tenders from contractors for the construction of Logistics Office, School of Military Engineering. It is intended to provide a new Logistics Office at the School of Military Engineering, DFTC, Curragh Camp, Co. Kildare that will be suitable for occupation by up to 12 members of staff.

There is an extensive list of that work that will be carried on the new construct, the full list is below;

- Construction of new NZEB single storey building including locker facilities, shower and ablution faciltiies

- Associated ground works for concrete strip foundations

- Construction of concrete strip foundations

- Floor finishes

- Installation and connection of new three phase LT cables in ducting to the building from existing electrical supply

- Construction of Main Distribution Board within the Logistics Office

- Electrical power supply and lighting for the Logistics Office

- Fire escape doors to the North gable elevation and Western Elevation

- Installation of air to water heat pump to provide space and water heating for the building, to including underfloor heating and associated pipework for water heating

- Installation of showers, ablutions and associated plumbing works to include connection to existing sewage drains

- Internal block walls, stud partition walls and associated fire doors

- Surface Water drains and connection to existing stormwater drainage system

- Internal electrical and communications points as outlined

- Mechanical Ventilation and Heat Recovery system
