Galway beat Kildare to claim All-Ireland Minor 'A' Championship title

Galway have beaten Kildare to claim the All-Ireland Minor 'A' Championship title. After 60 minutes of action on a fine afternoon in Pearse Park, Longford, Galway claimed victory in a competitive final clash.

The Tribeswomen pulled clear early in the second half with points from star Siun McGovern and penalty that was converted by Kate Thompson and in truth they never looked back with the wind behind them.

A disappointing end to a great season for Kildare but plenty of positives to take from another great showing from a Kildare minor outfit.
