Junction Improvement Scheme works scheduled for one Kildare area

Works associated with a Junction Improvement Scheme have been scheduled for one County Kildare area.
Kildare County Council (KCC) has said that it wishes to advise that works associated with the scheme at Blackwood, Dagwelds, between the R409 and R403, are scheduled to commence on Monday, 7 September 2026.
Moreover, KCC said that the works are expected to continue for approximately three weeks.
KCC further said that traffic management plans for the Junction Improvement Scheme at this junction are available on its official website.
“Traffic management measures will be in place for the duration of the works,” KCC emphasised. “KCC apologises for any inconvenience caused.”
KCC concluded by thanking the public ‘for their co-operation and patience’ while the works are being carried out.
