Karma in Kildare: Litter dumpers tracked down and made to clean up their rubbish

The offenders were ordered to clean up the rubbish by local gardaí
Dumpers who left litter behind in Kilcullen were tracked down by local gardaí over the weekend and were subsequently made to clean up their mess.
As reported by KFM, Kilcullen gardaí tracked down the vehicle involved on Saturday, August 30 last, identified the occupants, and brought them back to the scene to pick up the rubbish they had dumped.
A local rep based in Kilcullen, Fine Gael councillor Tracey O'Dwyer, welcomed the actions taken by gardaí.
She told the Leinster Leader that since the dumping began in early July, there has been "a real community effort" to identify the offenders.
Cllr O'Dwyer elaborated: "With assistance from Kildare County Council, Kilcullen guards and many local residents reporting incidents, [this] quickly led to the alleged offenders being confronted by Kilcullen guards on Saturday night.
"Kildare County Council will now pursue this matter and will refer the matter to solicitors."
