Kildare Animals in Need: Cute rabbit and cat looking for nice homes

Esther is a four month old Dutch Lop rabbit who is looking for a new home.

She was born in Spain and came to Ireland as part of a delivery of lop rabbits for a pet shop. This means that she has her own passport. She has been vaccinated and is in great health.

Esther is fine with being handled, but she stamps her back foot now and again when she is not impressed. But then if you were born in sunny Spain and arrived in damp Ireland you couldn’t really blame her for stamping her foot now and again.

The owner has had to make the hard decision to rehome her as his dog was reacting to her. She comes with a brand new indoor cage, bed, toys and rabbit food. There is a 50 euro adoption fee for her.

Rabbits need lots of exercise and fresh air so access to a garden would be important. If you are interested in learning more about Esther, please call 086 1751841.

Camilla is a lovely cat that lives in an outdoor playhouse at Kitty Cottage in our shelter. On the only day this week that the sun made an appearance, she found a nice spot to enjoy it. As we are heading into the busy kitten season we will soon have plenty of beautiful kittens looking for a new home.

You will find more details on our website, and you can plan a visit.
