Kildare County Council is not told about airplane flight path changes

Kildare County Council is not told about changes to flight patterns in the skies above the county.

This refers to paths taken by aircraft when taking off or landing.

Independent councillor Vanessa Liston raised the issue at a Celbridge-Leixlip Municipal District meeting, asking which section of KCC is notified "when there is a change in airport flying patterns in other local authority areas that significantly impact residents in the municipal district."

According to KCC it is not informed of changes to flying patterns over Kildare.
