Kildare County Council issues update on redevelopment of the Riverbank Arts Centre in Newbridge

Kildare County Council (KCC) issued an update on the redevelopment of the Riverbank Arts Centre in Newbridge.

The update was heard at the latest Kildare-Newbridge Municipal District meeting, which was held on Wednesday, March 20 last.

Fine Gael councillor Peggy O'Dwyer asked KCC to provide the update.

In response, KCC told Cllr O'Dwyer: "An architectural firm have been appointed to work on the redesign of the Centre.

"The Lead Department has been identified within KCC, who will liaise with Riverbank management, the board and the architects.

"Consultation and meetings with departments and individuals are underway, with plans to submit for Part 8 Planning in the coming months."
