Removal on Tuesday morning at 9.30am to arrive at Cill Mhuire Church, Ballymany, Newbridge for 10am Mass.

Funeral afterwards to St Conleth’s Cemetery, Newbridge.

Commandant Traolach Sweeney (retired) has passed away as the result of a tragic road traffic accident on Thursday, July 11, 2024.
Survived by his wife Ena Sweeney (nee Kelly, Myshall, County Carlow), his daughter Aislinn, his son Peter, son-in-law Martin, daughter-in-law Divya, grandchildren Apolline and Crispin, his brothers Pádraig and Domhnall, brother-in-law Michael, sisters-in-law Breda and Anne-Maire, relatives and friends.
Predeceased by his parents, Domhnall and Phil and sister-in-law Cora.

Removal to Church of the Holy Trinity, Allen, on Tuesday morning (July 16) arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by cremation in Newland's Cross Crematorium commencing at 13.30pm.

Joe will be greatly missed by his wife and 'best mate' Siobhan (Zinn-Collis) his son Andy and daughter-in-law Sophia, his brother Tommy and sister Christine, his mother-in-law Joan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and much-loved nieces and nephews both in London and Athy, extended family and friends in London and Athy.

Removal on Wednesday, July 17, at 11.45am to arrive at St Michael’s (New) Cemetery, Athy for Service and Committal at 12 noon.
