Titled “Home-bred and Home-fed on an Organic Beef Farm,” the walk takes place on Saturday, 25 July from 11am–1.30pm and will explore Willie's self-reliant organic beef system, where biodiversity and soil health are central to every farming decision.

Farming 66 hectares of grassland alongside 30 hectares of mixed forestry, Willie operates a low-input, closed-loop calf-to-beef system based on producing all feed on the farm. Visitors will hear how combi crops, multi-species swards and carefully managed grazing support productive farming while creating space for nature. The walk will also showcase the farm's rich biodiversity, including pollinator habitats, native hedgerows, mixed woodland and species-rich grasslands, demonstrating how practical management can benefit both wildlife and farm resilience.
