Kildare gardai deliver educational talk to 1st year pupils of this Kildare school

The talk focused on cyberbulling, internet safety and the responsible use of online platforms
On Monday April 27, members of Kildare Community Policing, assisted by Naas Roads Policing Unit, delivered an educational talk to 1st year pupils at Kildare Community School.
The presentation focused on cyberbullying and internet safety, promoting the responsible use of online platforms while highlighting the very real impact cyberbullying can have on young people.
Students were also guided on how to respond to and report incidents, ensuring they know where to turn for support.
Gardai report that engagement from the students was “excellent”, with important conversations held around respect, responsibility and staying safe online.
An Garda Síochána Kildare would like to thank all the 1st year pupils and staff at Kildare Community School for the invitation and warm welcome.
