KILDARE: Green light for dozens of apartments in €11m project in Clane

Planning permission has been granted for a development of houses and apartments for Clane.

The project is earmarked for Capdoo and Abbeylands areas of the town. 

The project will be for 51 properties comprising a mix of house units, apartment and maisonette units.

 The application has been made by Westar Investments which already has development in Clane as well as in Naas.

The estimated construction value of the project is over €11m, according to Construction Information Services database. 

Private amenity space will be provided the proposed house units in the form of rear private gardens.

The maisonette units will be served by designated areas of private amenity space to the rear at ground floor level.

The proposed apartment units will be served by private balconies/terraces.

A creche at ground floor level of an apartment block with an associated outdoor space.

A total of 126 car parking spaces will be provided.

There will be 32 bicycle spaces throughout the complex. 

Also being built is an access road to the west and south of Brooklands estate.

A linear/neighbourhood park adjacent to the River Liffey will be built to the east.
