There is a lack of news on the Kerdiffstown Park project, a councillor has complained.
The new public park, with playing pitches, is being built on the site of the former dump near Naas, which was closed by a High Court order 14 years ago.
Cllr Carmel Kelly sought an update there was no news available concerning opening times, maintenance arrangements, booking arrangements and whether a shop will open there.
She has been approached by a person interested in opening a shop.
According to Kildare County Council work is ongoing on putting in place arrangements for the running of the site and expressions of Interest for use of the all-weather pitches will be advertised shortly.
