Kildare ladies dominate Longford to make it two from two in the league

Lidl Ladies National Football League Division 3 Round 2

Kildare 4-16

Longford 0-6

Kildare have beaten Longford comprehensively to make it two wins from two in their Ladies National Football League Division 3 campaign. The Lilywhites started with electric pace and had Longford on the ropes before the visiting side could even react.

A goal and a point from Roisin Byrne after two minutes along with scores from Lara Curran and Ellen Dowling meant Kildare led by 1-3 to no score after just three minutes.

It is clear Diane O'Hora and her team have got a serious squad together for 2023 as Kildare look a dangerous prospect for any side on current form.
