Kildare LGFA Executive resignations accepted by County Board

The Kildare LGFA Executive have offered their resignations to the County Board following an Emergency General Meeting tonight. The County Board have accepted the resignations and stated that they did so "with regret and note their appreciation for the hard work carried out by all members."
A story in yesterday's Leinster Leader discussed the potential reason for the sudden calling of an EGM, but no details were released to media ahead of time. Although rumours swirled regarding a rift between the Board and Kildare ladies management staff, nothing was confirmed by either party ahead of time.
The Kildare LGFA statement finished, "The County Board will immediately seek nominations from clubs for a new executive committee."
