A housing development rising to four storeys is being planned for Naas town.

Whistlebrook Limited applied for planning permission for a mixed-use development at a site of on lands at Corban’s Lane and Millbrook Villas Road.

The site is located to the north of Meánscoil Iognáid Rís and to the north and west of nos. 9, 10, and 11 Millbrook Villas.

The proposed development will comprise four blocks providing a total of 56 apartments, duplexes and houses - as well as three commercial units.

The planned scheme has an estimated construction value of €13m, according to the Building Information Ireland database.

Units will be provided with private gardens/balconies/terraces facing to the north, south, east and west.

Also planned is the closure of the existing site access to Corban’s Lane.

The documents also provide for the removal of on street car parking and an upgrade to the street including a new cycleway.

The plans include 32 car parking spaces, 140 cycle parking spaces and plant areas.
