KILDARE: Newbridge school undertaking fundraising challenge

St. Conleth and Mary's Primary School in collaboration with the Parents Association present: Our Virtual Carrauntoohil Challenge!!!

Support the school as pupils and staff collaboratively run / walk the distance it would take to go from Newbridge to the top of Carrauntoohil (1400km) and back this June 23rd.

A school statement said: "Pupils and staff will run, jog or walk laps of the Patrician Field to raise much needed funds for our school. We will track our distance covered and give regular updates on our progress throughout the day.

"Money raised will go towards promoting the best interests and well-being of the pupils in our school through the purchasing of equipment, materials and resources.

"All donations are greatly appreciated. Along with the suggested donation amount, donations can be customised so donate what you can afford. No donation is too big or too small."
