KILDARE: Plans lodged for over 150 homes in Sallins

A planning application has been submitted to Kildare County Council by William Neville and Sons Construction for the construction of a large-scale residential development of 168 residential units and a creche.

The proposed development is earmarked for the Clane Road and the Sallins Link Road.

Being planned are 106 dwelling houses comprising mostly of 56 2-storey 3 bed semi-detached/end of terrace and 28 2-storey 2-bed terraced houses.

Three 4-storey apartment blocks will containing 54 units.

The development will also include a creche located at ground floor in one apartment block.

There will be access for vehicles and pedestrians from Sallins Links Road and pedestrian access from Clane Road.

Also in the designs are internal access roads and surface level car parking (250 spaces).

A basement will accommodate 42 car parking spaces, bicycle parking and bin storage.

Public open spaces will include multi-use games area (MUGA) and landscaping.
