KWWSPCA Dog show takes place at Punchestown tomorrow

Has your dog got the waggiest tail?
A few weeks ago we appealed for a long-term foster home for Paudie who has an old paw injury and had spent his entire ten year old life as a stud dog at a puppy farm.
We wanted him to live in comfort as a ‘normal dog’ for his golden years. Thankfully that special foster home came to be and Paudie looked quite happy to be leaving the shelter in considerable style.
We are very grateful to his foster family and indeed to all our foster families whom we rely on so much to help us with special cases just like Paudie. We all wish him a very happy retirement!
Annual dog Show
Our annual dog show takes place in the Parade Ring at Punchestown Racecourse on Sunday, September 8.
This is always a very enjoyable day out with several dog show classes in the ring, including ‘Fanciest Female Dog’, ‘Waggiest Tail’, and the always popular and very competitive ‘Dog most like it’s Owner’ category.
Registration begins at 1pm and the show and the fun starts at around 2pm. There will be lots to see and it really is a brilliant day out for dogs with the emphasis on an entertaining afternoon for everyone. Parking is free and there is no entrance charge.
So put the date in your diary and head for Punchestown Racecourse this Sunday, September 8 and enjoy the fun.
