LATEST: Great news as Kildare hotel gets green light for 33 new rooms

Kildare County Council has granted planning permission for an extension of 33 additional bedrooms on the first floor of the Keadeen Hotel.

Approval has been given for extensions and modifications of the of the popular hospitality venue in Newbridge. 

The 33 rooms will be constructed at floor level and have a total floor area of 1,422 sqm.

The estimated construction value of the project is almost €3m according to Construction Information Services database. 

In March, Kildare County Council granted planning permission for a leisure centre and gym on the ground floor and first floor. 

The total area of the new development will be 406 square metres. 

The estimated construction value of the project is around €800,000.

The planning application was lodged on October 1 last.
