Proposal for the Kilcullen Industrial Estate on the Naas Road
A proposed €600,000 Commercial Vehicle Test Centre could be coming to Kilcullen Industrial Estate on the Naas Road in Co Kildare, if plans submitted to Kildare County Council are approved.
The application was lodged by D & M Truck Engineering Limited.
The proposal involves demolishing an existing workshop and constructing a 570 square metre replacement building for use as a Commercial Vehicle Test Centre.
Plans also include signage on both the front and rear and surface parking spaces with four electric vehicle charging points and a covered bicycle bay.
The 0.278-hectare site is located within Kilcullen’s primary commercial and retail sector.
Nugent Planning & Design, based in Kildare, is the project architect.
The council is currently considering the application, with a decision expected in the coming weeks.
