Sale taking place in Newbridge

A well-known Newbridge pub is going up for auction next month.

The The Curragh Inn on Edward Street will be going under the hammer at a sale at the The Keadeen Hotel, Newbridge, on May 7, unless previously sold.

Sherry Fitzgerald O'Reilly, which is handling the sale, said the stated reserve price is €450,000.placeholder image

The Curragh Inn has been closed for several years.

Last year it emerged that the building had secured planning permission to be converted into retail and office units.

The pub was previously put on the market and sold to a new owner in November 2020.
