Local artist, Susie Button's first solo art exhibition, now at Leixlip Library

Leixlip library is currently hosting an exciting new exhibition by Susie Buttons. As the name might suggest, her work is full of colour and fun and created from buttons. Susie has lived in Leixlip for nearly 20 years. While clearing one day, she came across a battered old tin of her granny’s that was full of random old buttons. She instantly saw the potential beauty in them and was inspired to create. The buttons bring colour, uniqueness and fun to Susie’s work. The unexpectedness of the medium always puts a smile on people’s faces. The exhibition will be running for the month of September. Susie Buttons is active on social media under the username @susiebuttonsart. Her work can be purchased through www.susiebuttons.ie.
