Mother left Kildare home for two weeks after assault by her son

Kildare court told she is nervous of the teenager
A mother left her home for two weeks after being assaulted by her son, she claimed at Naas District Court.
The woman claimed at a family law hearing that the son has been violent towards her and physically assaulted her.
“I haven’t been home in two weeks because he is there,” she said.
She said her son has “anger episodes” and she is nervous of the 18 year old.
She also said he takes cannabis and has anger issues.
Judge Desmond Zaidan granted an interim protection order and he urged the women to get help for him.
He directed that the order be served by the gardaí.
He adjourned the case to January 28, adding that if the son breaches the order he will remand him in custody.
