Naas CBS claim South Leinster 'A' title with win over Knockbeg

South Leinster PPS Junior Football 'A' Final
Naas CBS 2-14
Knockbeg College 1-8
Naas CBS have claimed the South Leinster Post-Primary Schools Junior Football ‘A’ title with a win over Knockbeg College. After a strong start from the Carlow school that saw them lead 0-4 to no score 15 minutes into this game, Naas kicked into gear.
After not scoring to that point, Naas kicked 1-6 and reduced Knockbeg to just a single score to take a lead into half-time. CBS would kick themselves clear after the break and in truth always had Knockbeg at arm's length in the second half.
A late Rob Millham would be the icing on the cake for the now Champions.
