Orphan fox cub fights for life at Kildare Wildlife Rescue

Kildare Wildlife Rescue took in it's first fox cub of the season after a tiny day old cub weighing just 120g arrived for urgent care."The male cub was found on open green space in Ballyfermot in Dublin and handed in to the Irish Blue Cross in Goldenbridge who immediately contacted our help desk for advice. The cub was swiftly taken into the care by one of our licensed foster carers, Alexandra, and was assessed and treated," it said on it's Facebook page. "The tiny cub had a laceration on its neck which requires antibiotics and pain relief. It is not known how he sustained the injury. The arrival of the fox cub this week marks the official start of orphan season for us."
