A disappointing game but that certainly won't bother Johnstownbridge who had too much for a very poor St Laurence's side in this Group C SFC clash on Saturday in Hawkfield.
One man that lit up the was former county star, Paul Cribbin who was the outstanding player on the pitch as his five point total testifies to.
Just back from injury, wearing no. 26 the big man was everywhere and showed he still has a lot to offer at this level, at least.
It was Paul who opened the scoring and while TJ Nolan leveled for The Larries that was as good as it got for a side that will struggle retain their senior status.

Felix Lawlor got St Laurence's up and running on the resumption with a fine point; Darragh Sloane hit an exceptional point from wide on the right and while TJ Nolan replied with a top class converted free to make it 1-8 to 0-5 with 37 minutes on the clock.
Two excellent efforts from Paul Cribbin extended the lead before another man who gave his all in the white of Kildare, Padraig O'Neill, not long converted a mark.
