Proposed graveyard works outlined to Kildare councillors

Works planned for a North Kildare graveyard were discussed at the Clane-Maynooth Municipal District (MD) meeting.

Kildare County Council (KCC) was asked about the works at the latest MD meeting, which was held on Friday, February 2 last.

Fianna Fáil Cllr Paul Ward asked KCC: "Can the council update the MD on the works to be carried out in Boycetown Graveyard, Kilcock, to alleviate the recurring drainage issues and to detail the commencement date and timeframe for the completion of the works?"

KCC told Cllr Ward: "A contract is in the process of being awarded for surface water / drainage and road / path improvement works."
