Protection order granted for Kildare man allegedly being conspired against by his wife

IN-CAMERA
An interim protection order was granted for a Kildare man who appeared in Naas District Court on Thursday, January 11 last.
The man, who appeared before Judge Desmond Zaidan during an in-camera (in private) court session, alleged that his wife was conspiring against him.
He claimed that they originally met online and had gotten married.
It was also heard that she has a protection order taken out against him.
Upon hearing this, Judge Zaidan remarked: "I remember her (in here)... She claimed that she had no one else in the country but him, but that he was allegedly taking advantage of her."
The man said that he was afraid of her, and claimed that the woman has been trying to 'get him out' of the home which he says he bought himself.
Judge Zaidan ultimately decided to grant the order until the case resumes on a date in April for hearing.
