SPARKS FLY: ESB attacked over Kildare connections delay

ESB Networks has been criticised for failing to connect new homes to the electricity grid in time.

Naas Mayor Evie Sammon wants Kildare County Council to write to the company seeking information.

Cllr Sammon said she's aware of a group of residents have been waiting since last September to have homes connected and this hold-up has forced them to “live hours away from their homes.”

Another councillor, Fintan Brett, has previously criticised the company for a poor relationship with customers.
