Surface dressing works planned for two separate Kildare regions
The alert was issued by Kildare County Council
Surface dressing works are due to take place soon in two separate North Kildare regions.
For the first set of works, Kildare County Council (KCC) said: "Please note that surface dressing works will be carried out on the L5052 Allenswood on Monday, July 7, 2025.
"As these works are subject to favourable weather conditions, they are subject to change."
KCC continued: "Traffic Management measures will be in place for the duration of the works.
"Diversion routes will be clearly signposted."
KCC concluded: "Your co-operation is appreciated and any inconvenience caused is regretted."
For the second set of works, KCC had this to say: "Please note that surface dressing works will be carried out at the following locations between Tuesday, July 8 and Wednesday, July 9, 2025: L7081 Downings; R408 Boherhole; R408 Rathcoffey; [and] L5030 Tirmoghan.
"Traffic Management measures will be in place for the duration of the works.
KCC once again concluded by saying: "Your co-operation is appreciated and any inconvenience caused is regretted."
