The Keadeen Hotel Legacy Series was introduced in 2025

The Keadeen Hotel in Kildare is delighted to announce Johnny & Orla Murtagh and the team at Fox Covert Stables as the winners of the 2025 Keadeen Hotel Legacy Series.

Their outstanding performance throughout year exemplifies the skill, dedication, and consistency the series aims to celebrate.

In celebration of its deep racing roots and long-standing relationship with the Curragh Racecourse, the Keadeen Hotel proudly introduced the Keadeen Hotel Legacy Series in 2025.

The series included sponsorship of several key title races at the Curragh and represents one of many initiatives the Keadeen Hotel has undertaken in recent years to promote County Kildare as the heart of premier Irish racing.

Across the Legacy Series programme, points were awarded to the first four placed horses in each event. Following the completion of all races and the final tallying of points, the trainer with the highest overall score was named the winner of the 2025 series.

“We are honoured to introduce a series that not only showcases exceptional racing talent but also strengthens the heritage and future of racing in Kildare,” said a spokesperson for the Keadeen Hotel.

“We extend our warmest congratulations to the Murtagh team on their well-deserved success.”

The Keadeen Hotel looks forward to a continued partnership with the Curragh Racecourse and to further investment in the legacy series and local racing initiatives in 2026.
