Tipperary firm gets contract for major works at Moorefield GAA Club

A Co Tipperary firm has been awarded the contract for works at Moorefield GAA Club. 

Main contractor JNC Premier Pitches is expected to begin work soon. Kildare County Council granted planning permission last year for  Moorefield GAA Club to realign a pitch and install new flood lights, ball nets and spectator fencing.

A new all weather juvenile pitch with associated fencing and lighting is also planned.

The designs include the construction of a new viewing stand, a new playground with associated fencing and lighting and a new car park area between two pitches. 

A new walking path is also in the plans.
