UPDATE: Bench warrant issued for Kildare man accused of storing suspected cocaine worth €1,000 in his underwear

ALLEGATION
A bench warrant issued for a County Kildare man accused of storing suspected cocaine worth €1,000 in his underwear.
The allegations were previously detailed to Naas District Court back in December of 2022, and relate to Reece O'Neill-Buckley, with an address given as 23 White Oaks Green in Newbridge.
The 24-year-old stood accused of hiding the suspected drugs in his underwear at Lakeside Park in Newbridge on April 3, 2021.
Judge Desmond Zaidan said at the time that he would refuse jurisdiction, due to the serious nature of the allegation.
On the latest court date (Thursday, March 14), Judge Zaidan was informed that the accused was not present.
Upon hearing this, Judge Zaidan said that he would issue a bench warrant for the defendant's arrest.
