UPDATE: Kildare County Council says Royal Canal Greenway works are ‘nearing completion’
KCC also apologised for any inconvenience
Kildare County Council has said that construction works on the Royal Canal Greenway (Maynooth to Leixlip) are nearing completion.
The following update has been provided by Kildare County Council: "All sections of the greenway from Louisa Bridge, Leixlip to Maynooth Harbour are now open to the public.
"Some minor items of work along the full length of the scheme remain outstanding and are due to be completed in the coming weeks."
Kildare County Council also noted that general arrangement drawings for the scheme can be viewed online, and apologised for any inconvenience caused by the works.
