Work begins on extension to Aldi store in Kildare

Work has beguin on an extension to the Aldi store in Monread in Naas, Co Kildare.  

The 1,316 square metre facility will increase to 1,788 square metres. 

The single storey extension to the western side of the existing will include a new canopy and signs.

The existing Deposit Return Scheme unit will be replaced with a with smaller unit.

The plans include a reconfigured car park area and minor alterations to vehicular entrance location.

Car parking spaces will reduce to 81 from 88.

Cycle parking spaces will increase from 6 to 18.
