Athy's Picture This set to appear on tonight's Late Late Show on RTÉ

Kildare band Picture This are set to appear on the Late Late Show tonight in their first ever chat with the famous talkshow.

The Athy duo will be joining Ryan Tubridy on the set where they will talk about their amazing journey so far and their future plans, while they will also be performing one of their songs off their new album, also titled Picture This.

Jimmy Rainsford and Ryan Hennessy are the pair behind the microphone and the drums, and they are busy preparing for a tour across the US where they play in venues in New York, Washington, Chicago and LA, while they will also have a gig in Canada.

They return to Dublin in November for two gigs in the 3 Arena, both of which sold out within minutes, and they will also be playing a couple of gigs in Killarney the following weekend.

Joining the lads on tonight's show is hurling legend Henry Shefflin who will be chatting ahead of this weekend's All-Ireland Hurling final.

Megan Halvey-Ryan who, when she last chatted with Tubridy, had been waiting 18 months for surgery to correct a double curvature on her spine, will also be on the show. Her appearance on The Late Late Show provoked a national outcry.

Megan has now had her surgery and she joins Tubridy alongside her mother Sharon to fill viewers in on her recovery.

The show starts at 9.35pm.
