Bark in the Park at Newbridge's June Fest
All the fun takes place tomorrow, Sunday June 2
KWWSPCA will be taking part in the June Fest celebrations in Newbridge with our Bark in the Park event on Sunday June 2nd in the Linear Park, Newbridge.
Our agility course will be centre stage again. It was very popular last year with huge numbers of dogs and their owners trying out the simple course.
Maybe the warm sunshine on the day was a distraction for the dogs, as almost every dog chose to go under or around the jumps, to stay in the middle of the tunnels, or drank the water in the water jump.
It didn’t matter as long as they enjoyed their efforts and received their rosette for taking part.
It was very entertaining to watch with the emphasis on having fun.
We will also have a treasure hunt for the children, a mystery voucher draw, raffles and stalls selling cakes, pet goodies, fancy dress and all sorts of things!
All monies raised will go directly towards the animals in our care. Our event will run from 12pm to 4pm.
Thanks very much to Bebhinn the manager of the Swift 67 café Celbridge for facilitating a coffee meet and greet.
This was a lovely fund-raising outdoor event for our charity in beautiful sunshine.
Our Kitty Cottage is inundated with Kitten foster homes and has now reached capacity.
We are now looking for foster homes do deal with the extra work. If you would like to help, please text ‘foster’ to 089 458816.
