Bus between Kilcock and Dublin is often too packed - Cllr

The bus between Kilcock and Dublin is often too packed to get on, a councillor claimed.

Cllr Paul Ward has called on Bus Eireann to carry out a review of the service to ensure there is enough capacity for users.

The representative will raise the issue at a meeting of Maynooth Municipal District in Naas on Wednesday.

Cllr Ward said: "There are numerous reports of local Kilcock residents being unable to access this service at intermediate bus stops located on the route due to severe congestions on the current services."

Almost 40 motions relating to the wider Maynooth area will be raised by local representatives at the meeting in Aras Chill Dara.
